About My Clients
Sometimes life shows up when you least expect it. Life is not an easy journey. Change is difficult – it's uncomfortable, challenging, and creates uncertainty. With trying life events and internal struggles come a host of problematic, frustrating “negative” emotions – sadness, guilt, fear, shame, stress, and anger. Moving healthily and effectively through these trials requires patience, acceptance, courage, and integrity.
My Background and Approach
As a counselor, I have dedicated years of my life to gaining the experience and knowledge necessary to aid you on your journey of healing and growth. The most important aspect of the therapeutic process is my relationship with my clients. It’s one of the most significant determining factors for improvement/progress in therapy. Together, we will walk the complex and uncomfortable journey ahead of you, hand in hand. My role is to hold the flashlight showing you the path to walk, guiding and challenging you to take steps to heal. Your role? Walk the way – but you are not alone.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
With extensive clinical training gained from my Master’s degree education, several additional advanced assessment and technique trainings, and years of experience in the field, I am uniquely situated to treat a vast host of challenges – specializing in mental health, anxiety/stress, addiction/substance abuse, and spirituality.
