About My Clients
I work with teenagers and young adults who may be struggling with anxiety, overthinking, relationships, self-esteem, boundaries, or figuring out who they are and what they want. Maybe you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed by your thoughts, having a hard time saying no, or unsure of how to move forward. You don’t have to have everything figured out before coming to therapy. Together, we can better understand what’s getting in the way and find ways to make things feel more manageable.
My Background and Approach
My goal is to create a space where you can be yourself, talk openly without judgment, and feel comfortable bringing in whatever is going on in your life. You might come to therapy knowing exactly what you want to talk about, or you might have no idea where to start. Either way, we can figure it out together. My approach is supportive, collaborative, and conversational. I’ll support you while also asking questions, helping you notice patterns, and encouraging you to look at things in new ways. We’ll work together toward the goals that are important to you and find strategies that actually make sense for your life. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with experience working with adolescents and young adults and supporting concerns including anxiety, self-esteem, relationships, identity, boundaries, and substance use.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when you feel like you can show up as yourself. You don’t have to say the “right” thing, have everything figured out, or know exactly what you want to work on. I value authenticity, curiosity, humor, and creating a space where you can talk about the things that might feel difficult to say anywhere else. I also believe growth doesn’t mean becoming a completely different person. Sometimes it looks like understanding yourself better, trusting your own decisions, setting boundaries, changing patterns that aren’t working anymore, or feeling more confident in who you already are.
