My Background and Approach
Nikki is a licensed clinical social worker at BASE Cognitive Behavioral (www.findyourbase.com) in Charlotte, NC. She previously served as the Director of Adolescent Services at the Columbia Center for Eating Disorders in New York. She has trained under experts in the areas of eating disorders, anxiety, OCD, and selective mutism. Nikki is a certified Family Based Treatment therapist (also known as the Maudsley Method). She practices from a cognitive-behavioral approach focused on increasing flexibility in thinking and making adaptive behavior changes. She is a member of the Academy for Eating Disorders and the Association for Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies.
