About My Clients
I specialize in helping young adults (ages 18-35) master self-management and build their self-esteem so they can have healthy relationships and manage their emotions and behaviors to have a meaningful life. Many of my clients are recent high school graduates, college students, and adults trying to figure out life. Many of my clients have a history of family conflict during upbringing. My clients desire to be confident in themselves and to show up fully themselves in relationships.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is holistic - addressing mind, body, spirit, and environment. The tools that I'll provide you with are tools that I have been perfecting over my career helping folks at all stages of life - early childhood, adolescents, adults, and aging populations. In our work together, you will better understand your life experiences and how you came to be where you are emotionally and relationally. We explore your emotional, behavioral, and relational symptoms so you know why they exist and how to reduce or eliminate them. Through validation, education, and collaboration we work together to have a better understanding of your early signs when you are not doing well and returning unwanted patterns. As you gain an understanding you will have better awareness to your needs and when you feel "off" so you can address warning signs early with confidence, gain resilience, and master self-management. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I meet people where they are in life with compassion and non-judgement in personal and professional life. I believe we are all doing the best we can and having an understanding of where we are and how we got here matters. Every one has a personal story and their story is allowed to matter to them. Through my own therapy, I learned that I was holding more than I needed to. I learned to give myself permission to be my own first priority and to establish helpful boundaries. I hope for the folks I work with to have their own clarity in choosing themselves, to have skills to navigate life challenges, and compassion for themselves.
