About My Clients
I specialize in the following areas: sexual concerns, trauma (intergenerational, sexual, emotional, psychological, and physical), infidelity, relational conflict, anxiety, and depression. I am passionate about working with individuals, couples, and families on the impacts that sexuality, relationship dynamics, and intimacy concerns can have in life. Additionally, I have enjoyed my years working with the overlapping systems of religion and sex.
My Background and Approach
After completing my Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, I continued my post-graduate education at the Univerity of Wisconsin, Stout in the sex therapy certification program. To keep myself current and informed, I belong to numerous professional organizations including the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) and work with supervisors for continued education. My therapeutic approach is gentle, authentic, and individually tailored to the needs of each client and relationship. I have experience working with various models and I am extensively trained in Emotionally-Focused Therapy, as well as Brainspotting. I understand that it can be challenging to divulge such personal information, so it is crucial to me that you feel comfortable and supported when working with me.
