My Background and Approach
¡Hola!, I’m a bilingual Registered Mental Health Counselor Intern. My therapeutic approach integrates strategies from rational emotive behavior therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, motivational interviewing, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused therapy, and person-centered therapy. I have experience working with clients coping with substance use, depression, anxiety, ADHD, mood disorders, and marital problems. I offer a genuine caring, acceptance, respect, support, and understanding therapeutic environment. My goal is to assist clients in processing emotions and learning coping skills to improve life stressors while decreasing symptoms.
