It’s almost as if life has taken the wheel, and you’re being dragged along for whatever ride life chooses to take you on. You feel powerless and stuck, but mustering the energy, motivation, care, you name it, feels tiresome and fruitless. Regardless, you're ready for a change, and I'm here and ready to help.
My Background and Approach
Within the counseling space, you are welcomed to explore mindfulness as the truest version of yourself. In practice, this feels like welcoming the full spectrum of human emotions (the good, the bad, the ugly) to arise organically while exploring what thoughts, behaviors, and bodily sensations follow suit. My hope is to assist you in developing a fuller understanding of yourself across both your body and mind, so you can tackle whatever is ailing you with more confidence and self-awareness. By intermingling Gestalt and Cognitive Processing Therapy techniques, I aim to provide therapy that is both person-focused as well as evidenced-based. Additionally, I’ll often provide psychoeducation as I find it helps normalize mental health struggles and gives you a powerful knowledge base to help make meaningful, long lasting change.
