About My Clients
Have you been feeling stuck in the weight of loss, change, or overwhelming emotions? Maybe grief, a mood disorder, or past experiences make it hard to move forward, leaving you isolated or unsure of who you are now. I understand how heavy that can feel and the disconnection, the ache that words can't reach. Together, we’ll uncover your strength, explore meaning in your experiences, and rebuild connection and purpose. Healing is possible...you don't have to do it alone.
My Background and Approach
You don’t have to navigate this alone. Whether you're moving through grief (death or non-death losses like a breakup), living with a mood disorder, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition, I’m here to support you. I welcome the full spectrum of identity and expression into the therapy room, with a strong commitment to affirming and supporting LGBTQIA+ clients. Together, we’ll explore tools and practices to help you reconnect with your inner strength, regulate your nervous system, and feel more grounded in daily life. My approach is collaborative and compassionate. We’ll focus on what’s present for you now, while also exploring deeper patterns with curiosity and care. I integrate mind-body techniques, somatic imagery, and narrative practices to support healing on multiple levels. We’ll tune into how grief, anxiety, or overwhelm shows up in your body and mind, and discover ways to soothe, steady, and reimagine your way forward. I believe in your capacity to heal and grow.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I’ve proudly supported the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) for over a decade and am committed to creating an inclusive, affirming space for LGBTQIA+ clients. Service has always been central to my life. I’ve volunteered with CASA of Travis County, New York Cares, The Christi Center, and The Austin Center for Grief and Loss. These experiences continue to shape my belief in healing, advocacy, and compassionate support. Having lived and worked in New York City and Tokyo, I bring a wide, creative, and culturally informed lens to my work. These diverse chapters have deepened my respect for each person’s uniqueness and strengthened my commitment to showing up with compassionate curiosity and openness.
