About My Clients
Although I see a wide variety of clients, I frequently work with teens, emerging adults, and adults who often come to me feeling weighed down by anxiety, depression, burnout, grief, or the lasting impacts of trauma. Many of my clients also struggle with navigating identity concerns, religious or acculturation trauma, ADHD, and LGBTQ+ issues.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative, drawing from humanistic, cognitive-behavioral, and existential theories, always through a trauma-informed lens. That means our sessions move at your pace, with you as the expert of your own story. I see my role as providing a safe and supportive space where you can explore, heal, and reconnect with yourself.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing doesn’t just happen in the mind, so I often encourage mind-body practices; that could include walking and talking outdoors, outdoor grounding activities, or simply noticing how emotions show up physically. As a former student-athlete, I know the restorative power of intentional movement and our connection to the natural world, with others, and with ourselves.
