About My Clients

My Background and Approach
I am very personable, and take a client centered, compassionate, and integrative approach to therapy; incorporating mind, body, spirit as well as considering community and cultural contexts to help clients engage in authentic and deep work. I love using creativity, somatic and mindfulness practices to support clients in their self discovery and healing. I work with children (8 – 12), teenagers, adults and older adults, including individuals, couples, families and groups. I find that each stage of life comes with a unique set of challenges and gifts. Topics I often work with are: Depression, stress, anxiety, life transitions, grief/loss, trauma, relationship issues, parenting, teen issues, self-care, coping skills, illnesses, injuries/chronic pain, caregiver support, issues related to aging, Alzheimer's disease.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I draw upon my passion for art, psychology, spirituality and nature to support individuals, couples and families to engage in authentic and deep work. I believe that in bringing consciousness and intentionality to the important moments in our lives we can create a life that is utterly profound, beautiful, deep, connected and meaningful. Helping people to recognize, reflect on, integrate, heal and celebrate these moments is what I do. I am committed to the destigmatization of mental health, the dissemination of tools available within the evolving field of psychology and contributing to a society in which quality wisdom and services can be made accessible to all people. This is truly a profound moment to be a human. I believe that we are all in this together. When I’m not seeing clients, I love spending time in nature, hiking, sharing delicious meals with friends and family, writing and dancing.
