Are you feeling anxious, tired, embarrassed and/or hurt? Are you unsure of where to go and how to get better? I offer individual and family therapy, and life coaching designed to explore your thoughts, conclusions you've drawn, and your beliefs. This helps you to understand your viewpoint and learn the triggers and emotions that motivate your behaviors.
My Background and Approach
In my 19 years of experience in the field of social services, I have witnessed healing through hope, and lives transformed. As you enter the new year of 2020, I am standing ready to walk alongside you with customized whole-person care, aimed at helping you heal. I believe that shame dies when stories are told in safe places. Therefore, my office is a safe place where you can just sit and be heard. I have a laid back style that allows you to feel comfortable talking about issues that need a safe space to explore. We will walk through your story together, bringing awareness to connections, relationships, and responsibilities so that you can experience life in an enjoyable and meaningful way. I utilize a solution focused, person-centered, non-judgmental, strength-based approach. I offer flexible appointment times including after-hour and weekend appointments.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My office is handicapped accessible with an on site nurse practitioner. I believe in integrating primary care and behavioral health services. The idea of integrated health care is that physical and behavioral health problems occur at the same time, so integrating services to treat both is an effective way to help you feel your very best. If you desire, I will work with your primary care physician to develop an effective care plan.
