About My Clients
I work with adolescents (12-19), young adults, adults, and older adults who present with acute and chronic mental health and emotional health symptoms. I work with the queer community as well as ethnically diverse populations who live throughout the Bay Area and California. Many of my clients have complex trauma or C-PTSD so I have completed numerous trauma trainings and programs so I can effectively treat people who have more complex mental, emotional, and physical health cases.
My Background and Approach
I am a trained Somatic Experiencing (SE), EMDR/EMDr/EMD, Hakomi, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapist who integrates strength-based, existential, and culturally sensitive modalities to help people heal and thrive. I support goals clients identify and believe connection, loving presence, and community are an integral part of healing and recovery. My main focus is to meet clients where they are by supporting changes they are ready to make in their lives. I consider myself to be a facilitator of change in my clients lives. I help people find the intrinsic healer that exists inside of them, while creating a safe, non-judgemental, educational, and warm therapeutic environment.
