About My Clients
My clients are able to easily recall the skills learned in session and utilize them in their everyday life. Early childhood experiences lay the foundation for the way in which people view themselves, others, and the world, and manifests in behaviors. Dealing with someone struggling with anger, anxiety, depression, self-harm, trauma, substance use and gender identity issues is difficult, but you don’t have to do it alone.
My Background and Approach
Using evidenced-based approaches including CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectal behavioral therapy), EMDR (eye movement desensitization reprocessing), and a 12-Step recovery program, I support my clients in learning better communication skills and handling everyday stress stemming from school, family, and relationships.
