About My Clients

Struggling to manage relationship difficulties, trauma, or current psychological symptoms? With the demands of life, it can be easy to lose sight of who we are, who we want to be, and how we can enact positive change in our lives. In our work together, we will develop a safe relationship in which you can clearly define your therapeutic needs, develop a relationship of awareness and compassion with yourself, and utilize evidence-based and solution-oriented tools to fulfill your needs.

My Approach to Helping

I specialize in helping my clients to develop methods of relieving the emotional, cognitive, and physical symptoms of trauma, depression, and anxiety, as well as stress at work and in relationships. Depending on your needs and goals, we will develop strategies to work with symptoms in the short term while also facilitating the healing of longstanding wounds. I invite you to reach out via email, phone, or direct message through Therapy Den. I also offer free 20-minute video consultations so that we can get to know each other and discuss your needs before starting sessions. Therapy can be a means of enriching every aspect of your life, and I am grateful to be able to help people in service of that goal. I offer outdoor eco-sessions as well as group therapy for those interested in receiving feedback from peers dealing with similar issues. My Values as a Therapist

As human beings, we possess a unique ability to expand our understanding of ourselves and others, identify the driving forces that instill our lives with meaning, and self-actualize by committing to actions that serve our values. We often carry baggage that must be acknowledged and handled with care in order for us to move forward in life unencumbered. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients to better understand and manage their baggage--their life experiences, depression, anxiety, fear, trauma, difficult relationships--in order to discover who they want to be and how to become that person. Beyond building clients' awareness, self-compassion, and coping skills, I work to help them in creating and fulfilling a plan for lasting change, often focusing on strengthening one's relationship with themselves as a means of understanding solutions and managing concerns.
