My Background and Approach

I strive to create a caring and empathic environment, while at the same time challenging enough to help you grow. I use a combination of techniques based in cognitive behavioral therapy, compassion focused therapy, and mindfulness. In other words, I teach you the skills you need to approach your specific pain with acceptance and kindness so you can work courageously to end your suffering.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe each and every one of us has the power to improve our lives using adaptive skills, self compassion, and perseverance, and I have made it my purpose in life to help those who are struggling find relief from their suffering. I believe every one of us matters, deserves love, and has a purpose in life!
