About My Clients
Most of my clients are women and/or LGBTQ+ folks navigating anxiety, burnout, relationship stress, life transitions, people-pleasing, and questions around identity and self-worth. They are thoughtful, high-functioning people who appear “fine” on the outside [insert "This is fine" cartoon dog meme] but are feeling overwhelmed, emotionally exhausted, or stuck in patterns that just aren't working anymore. They are looking for a space where they can slow down, feel genuinely seen and supported.
My Background and Approach
Please note: I operate in a self-pay practice and provide superbills for clients seeking insurance reimbursement. I provide warm, relational online therapy for adults and couples throughout California navigating anxiety, burnout, perfectionism, relationship stress, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. My style is compassionate, collaborative, and nonjudgmental, while also grounded in honesty and thoughtful directness. I aim to create a space where you can slow down, better understand yourself and your patterns, and move toward greater clarity and self-trust. I tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs, drawing from IFS, attachment-based therapy, CBT, person-centered, and solution-focused approaches.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a space where people feel deeply seen, respected, and able to show up authentically without fear of judgment. I value curiosity, compassion, and honesty. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, trauma-informed, and inclusive of diverse relationship structures, identities, and backgrounds. I believe healing happens not only through insight, but through feeling safe enough to explore ourselves with greater openness, self-compassion, and connection. I approach therapy from a collaborative and anti-shame perspective and strive to create a space where clients can slow down and feel empowered to better understand themselves rather than pathologized for being human.
