About My Clients
I welcome clients of all ages, sexual orientations, gender identities, and backgrounds. I work with individuals, couples, and families navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, trauma, grief and loss, difficult life experiences, substance use, life transitions, and emotional challenges. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel respected, heard, and accepted while exploring their experiences, strengthening relationships, establishing boundaries, and creating meaningful change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Marriage and Family Therapy Trainee at Rhombus University, providing telehealth therapy under the supervision of a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My approach is trauma-informed, compassionate, and focused on understanding each client’s unique experiences and needs. I draw from approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while continuing to develop my clinical approach through education, supervision, and experience. I believe therapy should help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships. Together, we can explore patterns that may be affecting your life, develop practical skills, and find ways to move forward that feel realistic and meaningful to you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every person deserves to be treated with compassion, respect, and dignity, regardless of their background, identity, beliefs, or circumstances. I value equality, acceptance, honesty, family, community, and social justice, and I strongly support LGBTQIA+ and racial equality. I also believe mental health awareness should include the experiences of people living with chronic health conditions and other challenges that can be difficult for others to see. I was raised Christian and still consider my faith part of who I am, though my beliefs have evolved significantly over time. That journey has shaped my commitment to questioning assumptions, extending compassion, and creating space for people to be themselves without judgment. I believe clients should never have to hide who they are to feel respected in therapy or the world.
