About My Clients

I work with relationships of all types to break long-standing patterns of conflict or to navigate recent ruptures. I am particularly passionate about supporting those who are exploring nontraditional relationship structures such as ENM, polyamory, relationship anarchy, and kink. I am also comfortable working with couples on the brink requiring discernment counseling or those who are navigating conscious uncoupling.

My Background and Approach

I draw from a background in hospitality to create an accepting, welcoming and nonjudgmental space where my clients can feel safe to freely explore their shadow sides in order to discover wholeness, creativity, and well-being. My style of therapy is intuitive, direct and constructive. I will challenge and orient you towards the transformation that is seeking to emerge from within you. I believe that relationships hold up mirrors to our blind spots that require the most care and nurturance, and I strive to offer this compassionate reflection to all my clients. I operate from a psychospiritual perspective and draw inspiration from a wide range of therapeutic and holistic healing modalities. My clinical training is grounded in Psychodynamic, Relational, Experiential, Somatic, Transpersonal, and Emotionally Focused therapies. I earned my Master's in Mental Health Counseling from The Family Institute at Northwestern University.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that relationships have the ability to serve as containers for significant personal growth as well as relational healing if we are willing to utilize them as powerful mirrors, teachers, and vehicles for transformation. I am passionate about helping my clients find liberation from dependency and 'power over' structures to craft more conscious and whole-hearted ways of being in connection with one another. I am deeply committed to and fervent about this work, because I believe that collective healing begins with healing in our relationships. As I believe strongly in the healing power of relationships, the one that we form together is of critical importance. I offer a full session 60-minute initial consultation that is charged for only if we decide to move forward so that we have more of an opportunity to get a felt sense of what it would be like for us to work together and assess mutual fit.

I offer online counseling in the following states:
