About My Clients
In my practice I see children & adolescents. I believe that change can’t happen unless safety & security are established first. My goal for each session is to bring authenticity to the playroom & create safe space for each child to learn how to trust their own inner wisdom, strength, & gain confidence. Through compassion, humor, and encouragement, I create a supportive environment for a therapeutic healing process.
My Background and Approach
During the therapeutic process, I use many play therapy techniques. Play therapy can be a helpful intervention for any child. It has shown evidence to dramatically impact their ability to regulate emotion, problem solve and build resilience. I also use other modalities with children and families as well. I believe every child is unique, and my goal is to help bring out the best in your child. I understand that each age group/developmental level of my clients need diverse approaches.
