About My Clients
No matter what others tell you, you are enough. Maybe you don't believe this yet, but by the time you walk out of your last therapy session with me, you will not question your worth ever again. This is because you will be in a space free of judgments and blame, where you can safely process your past, your thoughts and insecurities at YOUR own pace. I welcome clients in my therapy space who come from marginalized and oppressed backgrounds in Kansas City.
My Background and Approach
I offer individual therapy services in a healing, supportive, and affirming environment, free of judgments. Together, we're going to work on envisioning what "Better" looks like for you while acquiring the necessary skills to get you there. Let’s work on bettering those relationships in your life; with your friends, family members, your past, or with yourself. All while concentrating on getting better, NOT assigning blame. With authenticity and empathy, my role is to provide you with the tools you need to develop into an improved version of yourself. / Soy una consejera profesional con licencia (LPC, por sus siglas en inglés) y terapeuta del arte, al servicio de la comunidad en Olathe, KS. Como terapeuta, mi objetivo es brindarle servicios de atención tomando en cuenta su cultura y su historial de trauma. Ofrezco sesiones de terapia individual en inglés o español, a niños (10-17 años) y adultos. Sería mi privilegio poder apoyarle en su viaje de sanación y capacitación, llámeme hoy.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a therapist, it is never my job to "save you." You, your ancestors, your community, and all your resiliency have brought you this far. You don't need anyone to lead the way, but rather someone to supply you with the necessary encouragement and empowerment to thrive all on your own. I believe every individual has their own inner capacity to heal, but there are systems in our lives that taught us that was untrue. If you're longing for a space where you don't have to negotiate your existence, or defend taking up space, I get you, and that's why I'm here. Call me when you're ready to put yourself first and love yourself unconditionally. / Decidirse en buscar ayuda no es facil, pero eso invaluable para su mejoramiento.
