About My Clients

For many of us, life can be lonely, depressing, anxiety-inducing or just complicated. I am here to meet you exactly where you are. I am a couples and individual therapist that works with men's issues, women who have experienced hurt by men and people of all genders who are experiencing low self-esteem, relationship issues or grappling with the larger questions of life around meaning, purpose and spirituality.

My Background and Approach

My approach is rooted in Contemplative Pyschotherapy which has its roots in Buddhism and Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado. I combine Eastern wisdom traditions in Mindfulness and Self-Compassion with modern Western approaches in Existential and Narrative Therapy. As a man in his 40’s that has traversed a variety of careers and passions (cinematographer/horse wrangler/barbershop harmony singer), I believe it is never too late to find new meaning and purpose in our lives. My creative life as a musician, filmmaker and writer informs my passion for helping you uncover your inherent gifts so you can more fully embody who you already are. Check out my web site at to learn more about me!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe in the fundamental goodness of all people and that none of us are broken or need to be fixed. Instead, what we may perceive as our faults are simply wise parts of ourselves that want to be heard and met with compassion and respect. Often before jumping to "get rid of" a problem we face, I like to get to know it first and even befriend it.

I have experience with the following
  • Buddhism
  • Judaism
