My primary area of expertise is in the field of sexual/pornography addiction. Guys struggling with a sexual addiction often feel alone, have immense amounts of shame, and are at a loss as to what to do next. Practically, we can address the addiction by breaking it down and finding a healthier way of functioning.

The male loneliness epidemic continues to rise and have devastating consequences such as increased risk of depression, suicide, as well as physical side effects such as cardiovascular disease. My role is to create a space where you can be seen and validated. Additionally, I want to help point you to support systems that can bring about and enhance the meaning in your life.

Having a sexual problem as a man feels embarrassing and isolating. It can also feel uncomfortable to talk about. Meeting me, you will find someone who is both validating and direct as we explore what the root issue is and what needs to be done to get to the solution.

Many therapists treat the client as a symptom to be addressed or a problem to be solved. Not me! When I sit across from you, I see a person, much like myself, dealing with the struggles and complexities of life. I respect you as the expert of your life. My role is to offer a different perspective, ask questions you've never thought of before, or to challenge you to think/behave differently.

Most therapists are trained in CBT these days. What makes me different? My training is in Solution Focused treatment meant to address your problems in quick, practical steps to get you on your way.

Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART) is a brief, evidence-based therapy designed to treat PTSD, anxiety, depression, and trauma-related symptoms, often within 1-5 sessions. It uses eye movements and "voluntary image replacement" to reframe how distressing memories are stored in the brain, lessening their physical and emotional impact without requiring in-depth verbal descriptions of trauma.
