About My Clients
I see clients who may be exploring complex trauma, their relationship with substances, identity work, and or navigating boundaries with emotionally immature people. I am affirming of the LGBTQIA+/queer community. I approach therapy as non-oppressive, grounded in the belief that healing is a relational experience—rooted in connection, safety, and authenticity.
My Background and Approach
I have 4 years of clinical experience working in psychiatric acute care and direct clinical work in private practice settings with adults. I'm trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) for trauma re-processing. I incorporate somatic techniques in our sessions, exploring the connection between your mind and body. I am a queer-identifying clinician and have a passion for working with the LGBTQIA+ community. Therapy is similar to a garden - you cannot rush flowers to bloom. Our sessions will be built on patience, curiosity, and cultivating a gentle self-compassion that you may not have accessed before.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am compassionate, direct, and liberating. I'm not a blank slate therapist; I value incorporating humor and empowerment into our sessions. Therapy is not a race; I am honored to be a part of your journey. I view our work through a non-oppressive, feminist, and culturally sensitive lens.
