About My Clients
Do you ever feel like you are putting on a happy face just to get through the day, only to come home, emotionally drained, and tired of faking it? Do you want to take the next step but have spent so long feeling like a burden that speaking about your problems seems terrifying? Initiating therapy can seem frightening and, for a lot of us, talking about our feelings doesn’t come easy. That’s okay – I understand that struggle and, together, we will work towards getting your life back.
My Background and Approach
The tools that you will gain from therapy will help you feel more in control. We will work collaboratively to address the underlying issues that may be exacerbating the day-to-day strain. For over 15 years, I have worked with clients to help facilitate the learning and use of new coping skills. Whether it be tools to assist with anxiety reduction and stopping panic attacks, help to understand trauma reactions, ways to increase positive thoughts, or strategies to improve attention and concentration, we will address what is going on and how to find relief. I am Psypact accredited and have completed Safe Zone training. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that the therapeutic relationship is the most important factor to bringing about effective change and we attempt to provide everyone with a supportive, safe, and judgment-free environment. I also believe that anyone, no matter what their age, can grow and change. I have witnessed this firsthand in my experience as a clinician, which is why I feel that the therapeutic relationship is a privilege and feel honored that you have chosen me.
