About My Clients
I have worked with children, adolescents, and young adults in outpatient, community, and educational settings. I have cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) expertise for mood, anxiety, and disruptive disorders. I also have expertise in trauma-focused CBT. I am also trained in acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) and have expertise using acceptance-based approaches for mood and anxiety disorders.
My Background and Approach
I have master’s degrees from Columbia University and Boston College and a Ph.D. from Boston College in counseling psychology. I completed a clinical internship and post-doctoral fellowship at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College. In addition to my clinical work, I am an assistant professor in the psychology department at Suffolk University, where I teach courses in a graduate mental health counseling program.
