About My Clients
I work with a WIDE variety of clients. Are you a Type A, overachieving, perfectionist who just got thrown a curve ball? A new Mom who experiencing postpartum anxiety or depression and wondering why this does not feel like a Hallmark card brought to life? A fifty-something looking for new paradigms or a deeper sense of identity for the coming decades? A creative type who loves their job except when it makes you miserable? If this sounds familiar, please contact me and let's chat.
My Background and Approach
Right. I hold a Master of Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Wake Forest University and complete clinical training at Emory Wesley Woods. I hold additional degrees from Brown University, Emory School of Law, and the University of Tennessee-Knoxville. Prior to counseling, I worked in trade publishing and legal education. Good therapy is a partnership, and I will work to meet you where you are and explore where you would like to go. I integrate elements of CBT, person-centered, mindfuless and relational-cultural therapy into my work as appropriate to the client.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe we are capable of doing the hard things in our steps towards healing. It helps not to have to do them alone. I am honored to hold space and accompany you on your journey.
