About My Clients
I work with adults and couples who are navigating relationships, intimacy, sex, fertility, pregnancy and parenthood, anxiety, life transitions, and the complicated stuff that comes with being human. I especially enjoy working with thoughtful, self-aware people who understand their patterns but still feel stuck in them. I’m LGBTQ+ affirming and welcoming of diverse relationship and family structures.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in Counseling from Fordham University and years of experience working with individuals and couples. My approach is integrative, relational, and trauma-informed. I draw from the Gottman Method, Terry Real’s Relational Life Therapy, Stan Tatkin’s PACT, attachment-based therapy, ACT, DBT, CBT, and psychodynamic approaches. But ultimately, I don’t believe therapy should feel like a one-size-fits-all treatment plan. I tailor our work to you, your relationships, and what you actually need. I’m warm and conversational, but I’m also willing to be direct and challenge you when I think it could help. I won’t just sit back and nod—I’ll listen deeply, ask the questions that matter, and help you make sense of patterns so you can actually do something differently.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people are complicated, relationships are messy, and there is rarely one “right” way to build a meaningful life. I’m a big believer in curiosity over judgment and in creating space for people to figure out what actually works for them—not what they think they’re supposed to want. I’m sex-positive, LGBTQ+ affirming, and genuinely open-minded about relationships, sexuality, gender, and family structures. I believe good therapy should be a place where you can talk honestly about the things that feel awkward, embarrassing, or difficult to say out loud. Outside of therapy, I’m an active mom who enjoys Pilates and running, and someone who appreciates good food, travel, sunshine, and a great conversation. I try not to take myself—or life—too seriously. I bring that same warmth, humor, and humanity into the therapy room.
