About My Clients
My clients are some of the strongest people I know. I focus on women's issues including: Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Grief and loss, Infertility, Postpartum Adjustment, Birth Trauma, and Parenting. Many of my clients describe our work together as "a reset" and tell me that I am one of the first people to help them feel empowered, aligned with their authentic self, and confident that they can handle anything that comes their way. Together we can create a customized approach for your healing.
My Background and Approach
I received my Masters in Social Work from New York University and am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker providing telehealth throughout the state of Florida. I am a Certified Perinatal Mental Health Therapist (PMH-C) and specialize in Trauma and PTSD. I am trained in evidence based modalities including: EMDR, Ego State Intervention, Mindfulness and CBT. In addition to these modalities, I have created my own protocols called Repairing While Parenting™ and VOC Communication™ to help my clients reparent themselves and better communicate with their children and loved ones in a way that can support cycle breaking and generational trauma healing. My approach is eclectic and solution focused which allows our work to flow based on your needs each session as well as your overall goals for therapy. I pride myself on showing up authentically and creating a non-judgemental space for you to feel seen, accepted, and heal at a pace that feels right for you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
While everyone's experience is unique, I believe that having a therapist who understands what it's like to be "on the other side of the couch" is crucial. I began my career specializing in trauma work after working through my own traumas with EMDR and realizing how healing of a modality it truly is. My passion for working with women on their motherhood journey was then ignited through my own experiences with infertility, birth trauma, postpartum depression & anxiety. I knew I needed to become the support for others that I struggled to find. I am committed to meeting you where you are without judgment or assumptions.
