About My Clients

You’ve spent years masking, overthinking, and holding it all together—and now your anxiety, relationships, or self-image have you feeling exhausted and out of sync with yourself. You crave peace, clarity, and connection, but don’t know where to start. I help Black and Brown women and LGBTQIA+ folks—unpack old patterns, reconnect with their bodies, and build self-trust through compassion, boundaries, and practical tools rooted in somatic and evidence-based care.

My Background and Approach

I help women who are tired of holding it all together finally create space for themselves. Many of my clients show up feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stuck in people-pleasing, and unsure how to express their needs without guilt. They've often spent years prioritizing others, navigating relationships that drain them, and wondering, “When is it my turn to feel supported?” My style is relational, affirming, and flexible. I pull from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Rogerian principles to meet you where you are and walk with you toward where you want to be. That might look like learning how to ride the wave of anxiety instead of fighting it, practicing boundary-setting scripts, or sitting with your inner critic and gently telling her to have several seats. Therapy with me is both reflective and action-oriented—we’ll laugh, dig deep, and build tools you can actually use in your day-to-day life.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

This practice was born from my belief that healing happens in safe, authentic connection and community—especially for those of us who’ve learned to perform strength to survive. As a Black woman and therapist, I’m deeply committed to serving BIPOC and neurodivergent folks, high-achievers, LGBTQIA+ folks, and anyone who's been told they're too much for wanting more. I have learned through my own mental health journey that being able to exist without expectations of productivity is an act of resistance we all deserve. When I am not engaging in healing care, I enjoy watching reality television, traveling, being in community, collecting hobbies, and trying to keep my new plants alive.
