About My Clients
I serve those who are looking to find peace, be heard & understood, change their way of living, feel less stress and anxiety, and grow. I am a kind supportive challengers who focuses on growth & healing, purposeful living, motivation & behavior change, healthy living - healthy coping strategies, boundary setting, self-esteem, anxiety, stress & burnout, life transitions all in a nature based setting. My Background and Approach
My counseling approach is an integrative style of person-centered, positive psychology, reality therapy, existential theory, cognitive behavioral therapy, and ecotherapy. I apply solution focused, mindfulness, and motivational interviewing techniques to understanding what’s most important to you. Together we will discuss your hopes, goals, and purpose to create paths towards growth. I have a Master's degree for DePaul University in Counseling and am a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach. I have earned certifications in Motivational Interview, MBTI, and Strong Interests Inventory. I enjoy professional development to better serve my clients though workshops, webinars, and conferences such as Safer Spaces, Implicit Bias with the Kirwan Institute for the Study of Race & Ethnicity, and Unlearning Racism with the YWCA.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I focus on what’s right and good with each individual. Everyone brings their own unique strengths to the world. I care deeply about each person living their life in a way that feels authentic and true to their identity. I hope to be able to support others through this lens. I love all living things, plants, animals, insects…. I’ve rescued raccoons, baby mice and once, a chipmunk. I volunteer with Milwaukee Street Angels an organization in Milwaukee dedicated to serving individuals experiencing homelessness. I enjoy being active, running, bouldering, hiking, gardening and spending time with my cat.
