About My Clients
If you’re navigating anxiety, trauma, body image struggles, or the lasting impact of a brain injury, you’re not alone—and you don’t have to figure it out by yourself. At Gray Matters, I offer compassionate, evidence-based psychiatric care for adults dealing with eating disorders, depression, neurological conditions, and vicarious trauma. We’ll work together to untangle what’s weighing you down so you can move forward with clarity and strength—one step, one breath, one win at a time.
My Background and Approach
You already have the capacity to heal—my role is to help you reconnect with it. Together, we’ll uncover tools that ease anxiety, disordered eating, trauma responses, and somatic symptoms. You’ll learn how to listen to your body, regulate your thoughts, and respond with clarity instead of panic. This is collaborative work—grounded in neuroscience, shaped by your lived experience. As a self-pay practice, our sessions are truly yours: no insurance hoops, no rushed decisions, no third-party limits. Just space to do the deep, meaningful work at a pace that honors your process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe change is always possible—no matter how long you’ve felt stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself. The mind and body adapt to survive hard things, but sometimes those adaptations become the very patterns that keep us suffering. That’s where our work begins: identifying what no longer serves you and gently unlearning it. Whether you’re navigating trauma, anxiety, somatic symptoms, disordered eating, or a neurological condition, we’ll build practical tools you can use every day to feel more at home in your mind and body. I’ve walked my own path through an eating disorder, anxiety, PTSD, and a stroke. I know what it’s like to want freedom from it. As a self-pay provider, I’m here to work with you, not around red tape—no pressure to “perform” for a diagnosis, just space to heal in your own time. You will always be met with warmth, honesty, and zero judgment.
