Being strong, capable, unemotional, and productive are the characteristics men are often taught to value and emulate. However, research shows us that asking for help and sharing your emotions can make you to feel better, increase your self-esteem, motivate you, and expand your quality of life. As a therapist, it's important for my male clients to have a welcoming, non-judgmental space in which they can talk about their emotions, pasts, and desires without fear of criticism.

As a therapist, it's important for my male clients to have a welcoming, non-judgmental space in which they can talk about their emotions, past, and desires without fear of criticism.

We learn how to be in relationships from a very young age, and oftentimes our ways of connecting with others is passed down from one generation to the next. However, these patterns of communication can be unhealthy, difficult, or traumatic. Growing up in environments where you were uncared for, hurt, or unable to share your feelings can have major impacts on how you operate today. Part of my job is to help you build new patterns in order to live the life you want.

Queer trauma, shame, pain, and joy are all things that are important to share. I believe in creating an affirming, open-minded, and imaginative space in which my clients can explore their history, sexuality, relationships, and desires. My practice is inclusive of all identities, where we might explore topics such as kinks, non-monogamy, gender, transitioning, sexual problems, and religion.

I use an integrative approach that is tailored towards my clients needs, goals, and desires. This style of therapy integrates practices which builds upon your strengths, and works to alleviate pain and suffering through self-expression, coping skills, and understanding our past experiences.

My practice is built on the principles of empathy, vulnerability, and non-judgment. I seek to create a space in which my clients can find the support they need, discover their own voice, and break unhealthy patterns without feeling shame or guilt.
