About My Clients
They say that the only constant in life is change. What they don’t tell us is how to cope with those changes. While depression, anxiety, grief or big life transitions might make us feel overwhelmed & helpless, know that you don't have to do this alone. The truth is that life can be overwhelming and it can feel like you are barely holding on when juggling all your responsibilities & expectations. You are trying to keep going & survive, but you know that what you really deserve is to thrive.
My Background and Approach
I hold space for women & teens navigating loss, changes and life's stressors by supporting their strengths, focusing on their aspirations and helping them implement strategies to improve their mental health. We work collaboratively through their healing process while learning coping skills, boundary-setting and tools to manage anxiety, depression & grief. In addition to counseling techniques and approaches (as both, a Clinical Social Worker and a Board-Certified Music Therapist), I may also utilize mindfulness, music, journaling, art, and movement in my sessions, as preferred by my clients. We work collaboratively: my clients as the experts of their own journey and I, as a guide that brings her expertise, knowledge, experience and tools to support them through their healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Holding space for my clients, supporting their well-being and encouraging them to find their own voice while developing coping tools to process and handle what life throws at them is important to me. You can feel grounded, experience harmony & find healing. If you long for emotional support and guidance to learn new coping strategies, learn about yourself, feel heard, understood & empowered to handle what life throws at you, I'm here to support you.
