About My Clients
No two children experience the world the same way, and every family has a unique story. I work with children, adolescents, and their families who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, behavioral challenges, emotional regulation, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. My goal is to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered while supporting parents with practical tools that strengthen connection and confidence at home.
My Background and Approach
I believe children thrive when they feel genuinely seen, heard, and accepted. My approach is grounded in understanding the emotions and experiences beneath a child's behaviors rather than focusing on behaviors alone. By building trust and strong therapeutic relationships, I help children develop the confidence and skills they need to navigate challenges and grow. I use a developmentally appropriate, relationship-centered approach that incorporates play therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), attachment-based interventions, trauma-informed care, and close collaboration with parents and caregivers. I believe caregivers are an essential part of the healing process, and I work alongside families to strengthen communication, deepen connection, and support lasting progress beyond the therapy room.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child deserves to feel safe, respected, and understood. Children are doing the best they can with the skills and experiences they have, and I believe our role as adults is to respond with curiosity before judgment. I value authenticity, empathy, inclusion, and collaboration, and I strive to create a welcoming environment where children and families feel comfortable being themselves. My hope is that therapy helps families not only overcome current challenges but also build stronger relationships that support lifelong growth.
