About My Clients

I work with adults and older teens struggling with OCD, intrusive thoughts, panic, phobias, and anxiety. Many of my clients feel stuck in cycles of overthinking, reassurance-seeking, or avoidance that are interfering with their lives. They are often thoughtful, driven individuals who want practical tools and a structured approach to move forward despite anxiety and uncertainty.

My Background and Approach

I specialize in the treatment of OCD, intrusive thoughts, panic, phobias, and anxiety disorders using evidence-based approaches including Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and elements of Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT). My work focuses on helping clients step out of cycles of rumination, reassurance-seeking, and avoidance that keep anxiety and OCD stuck. Treatment is active, structured, and collaborative. Together we build a clear understanding of how anxiety operates and develop practical ways to respond differently when fear and doubt show up. Rather than waiting for anxiety to disappear, clients learn how to move toward the life they want while making space for uncertainty and discomfort. My style is warm, direct, and grounded. I work best with thoughtful, motivated individuals who are ready to engage deeply in the process of change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that many of the struggles people face with anxiety and OCD come from the understandable desire to feel certain, safe, and in control. Unfortunately, the strategies we use to try to eliminate discomfort—overthinking, reassurance seeking, avoidance, or compulsions—often end up strengthening the cycle we are trying to escape. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change comes not from eliminating fear, but from learning how to live fully alongside uncertainty and discomfort. Therapy becomes a place to practice responding differently to difficult thoughts and feelings while reconnecting with what truly matters in your life. I believe people are far more capable of facing hard things than they often realize. With the right structure, support, and willingness, it is possible to move toward a life that is guided more by values than by fear.
