Couples counseling can be vital in repairing troubled marriages and committed relationships, in addition to strengthening happy ones. I practice “Gottman Method Couples Therapy,” which is an approach to couples therapy that includes a thorough assessment of your relationship's strengths & weaknesses and then integrates relationship skill-building tools. Ultimately, these skills are designed to strengthen your relationship, rebuild your connection and restore the joy you once felt.

It’s true. We all experience anxiety from time to time. These feelings alert our mind and body to potential dangers, activate our “fight, flight, freeze, or friend” response, and thus keep us safe. However, sometimes our anxiety reactions work a little too well. That’s where anxiety therapy comes in. In anxiety therapy, I work with you to explore and address anxious thoughts and work with you to explore new ways of coping.

In my work with you, we will assess all aspects of your human experience - the physical, the spiritual and the psychological. This means that I take an integrative approach to healing and aim to bring consciousness to every part of you. This kind of exploration and internal integration brings about lasting relief, improved relationships, and whole person well-being.

CBT is one of my favorite therapies to use with clients because we all have "worrisome" and "negative" or irrational thoughts from time to time. CBT is based on the principle that your thoughts, influence your feelings and thus influence your behaviors and/or consequences. We will work together to identify how your negative /worrisome/irrational thoughts are affecting your life. I teach you skills to evaluate them and restructure them for a more positive outcome.
