About My Clients
We welcome clients with a variety of mental health needs but specialize in a few very important areas. These areas include chronic illness and chronic pain, high functioning autism spectrum disorder, and supportive therapy for parents/caregivers of children with unique health or developmental challenges.
My Background and Approach
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and a certified Special Education teacher, I have a wide variety of experiences. In addition to my private practice, I also counsel adults living with cystic fibrosis through a local hospital system. I am also the district representative for my school district's SEPAG (Special Education Parent Advisory Group), and I have a child with special needs. My approach is solution focused. The main therapy modality I utilize is ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy). The goal is always to help my clients live a more functional and positive life.
