About My Clients
I work best with clients aged 16-150, specializing with healing the myriad of expressions of trauma. I also work through a Health at Every Size, radical self acceptance and social justice lens. My clients respond well to my warm, humorous, approachable, and honest style. I have specialty training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, and Relational Gestalt Therapy. A lot of folks I work with describe themselves as weirdos, creatives, outsiders, punks, activists, and radicals.
My Background and Approach
My background is in Humanistic and Existential Therapy with an emphasis in Health Psychology. Over the years I’ve gotten specialty training in EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, Relational Gestalt Therapy, Feminist Psychology, Chronic Pain Management, and Health at Every Size. I work from a self-compassion and radical acceptance lens as well.
