About My Clients

My clients are primarily late-identified Autistic-ADHDers and/or "highly sensitive people" (deep feelers). They often come in with concerns about anxiety, sadness, stress, burnout, or exhaustion. They might feel irritable, on edge, as if they are just "too much" or "never enough," chronically misunderstood, or simply exhausted from existing. My clients are eager for support in exploring their internal experience and moving towards a place of peace, self-acceptance, understanding, and compassion.

My Background and Approach

My style is open, authentic, non-judgmental, curious, and compassionate. All of your parts are welcome in the therapeutic space, and I will work to create a sense of safety there. I wholeheartedly believe that my clients are the experts in their experiences and have the innate ability to move towards healing and growth. I will join with you to tell and rewrite your story, identify effective methods of coping, deepen self-understanding and acceptance, and unearth your own inherent strengths. I primarily use techniques based in Relational, Person-Centered, and Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. Because emotions and trauma are stored in the body, many clients find it helpful to incorporate somatic exercises in session and I am trained in Brainspotting, a powerful somatic-based trauma therapy. Every person is unique, so we will work together to find what works for you!

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I am a member of the queer and multiply neurodivergent community, and am actively anti-racist. I am committed to practicing from a place of cultural humility with an emphasis on disability justice. I apply an intersectional lens and consider the unique experiences of those who hold multiple identities, as well as the societal, material, and environmental factors and systems that cause individual, collective, and intergenerational stress and trauma. I strive to create a safe, compassionate, judgment-free space. I am committed to serving the 2SLGBTQIA+ and BIPOC communities, and strive to ensure that every individual who enters the space feels safe, heard, and respected.
