About My Clients

My clients are adults navigating life’s challenges. Whether that’s trauma, chronic pain or illness, identity and relationship stress, or big transitions. Many are part of the LGBTQIA+, poly, or kink communities and value a space where they don’t have to explain or defend who they are. My clients are seeking relief from overwhelm, wanting to feel more grounded, and ready to move toward greater self-understanding, resilience, and ease in daily life.

My Background and Approach

I hold a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Northern Colorado. I’ve been working in the field since 2017 in outpatient settings and for the last three years in private practice. My experience includes supporting adults through trauma, anxiety, depression, chronic pain and illness, and relationship stress. My approach is collaborative and client-centered, grounded in empathy and respect. I draw from mindfulness and person-centered therapy to help clients process painful experiences, manage current challenges, and strengthen their capacity for resilience. I am affirming of LGBTQIA+, polyamorous, and kink communities, and I value creating a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients can explore their identities and experiences without fear of misunderstanding. I believe therapy is most effective when it feels authentic and supportive, empowering clients to heal, grow, and live with greater self-understanding and ease.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe that every person deserves a space where they feel safe, seen, and valued exactly as they are. I trust in people’s natural capacity for healing and growth, even when life feels overwhelming or painful. I see therapy as a collaborative process rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect, and I believe that meaningful change happens when clients feel genuinely understood. I also believe that identities, relationships, and lived experiences should be honored, not pathologized — especially for those in LGBTQIA+, poly, and kink communities. Above all, I believe that people thrive when they are empowered to live authentically and with greater ease.
