Many of my clients are high-functioning adults who are tired of just coping and are ready to heal at a deeper level. Together, we’ll help you move beyond survival mode, reconnect with yourself, and create lasting change.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, EMDRIA-Approved EMDR Consultant, and trauma therapist with advanced training in EMDR, parts work, nervous system regulation, and other evidence-based approaches. I specialize in helping adults heal from childhood trauma, complex PTSD, anxiety, grief, attachment wounds, and difficult life transitions. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to each person’s unique experiences and goals. I believe symptoms often develop as adaptive responses to overwhelming experiences rather than signs that something is wrong with you. Together, we work to understand the roots of your struggles, build a greater sense of safety and self-compassion, and create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to provide a supportive space where you feel heard, respected, and empowered throughout the healing process.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that every person has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change, regardless of what they have experienced. I value compassion, authenticity, personal responsibility, resilience, and service to others. My work is grounded in the belief that people make sense in the context of their life experiences and that healing happens when we feel safe enough to explore those experiences with curiosity rather than judgment. I am passionate about strengthening our community and support organizations that help individuals and families facing hardship, including Hands Across the Bay, a nonprofit dedicated to crisis stabilization, domestic violence awareness and prevention, acts of kindness, and supporting local families and organizations in need.
