About My Clients
Do you have a sense that you are not living life to its fullest? Many people in our culture have suffered some form of trauma in childhood or their adult life, essentially trauma is anything that causes a person to feel worthless helpless, insecure, or even endangered. This type of deep experience impacts the whole being and dictates the way we function in our lives. Many times this comes with not believing things can get better, but they can! My many years of experience has showed me this!
My Background and Approach
My approach is very relational, I have a strong belief that every individual is unique and so you can never treat two clients the same. I come with my extensive experience in guiding my clients toward a more fulfilling life, but each journey will be very personal. My first psychotherapy degree was a Graduate Certificate in Gestalt Psychotherapy (a humanistic and somatic therapy form) form University of Derby, England . This is the foundation which I stand on. After that I gained a MA and Psy. D. in humanistically focused psychotherapy here in California. I have also trained extensively in somatic therapies, both with and without touch. I am an immigrant and so fully bilingual/bicultural Swedish.
