About My Clients

I particularly enjoy working with clients hoping to improve their relationships, high demand career professionals struggling with work-life balance, and individuals wanting to deepen their comfort with emotions. I often talk with people looking to continue their process of ongoing personal growth and explore how to live more fulfilling and meaningful lives. My ultimate goal is to help you develop the capacity to respond to future challenges with greater resilience, empathy, and self compassion.

My Background and Approach

Born and raised in New Jersey, I received my undergraduate degree in psychology from Cornell University. After working as a teacher and case manager with adolescents and young adults with psychiatric and developmental disabilities for several years I completed my master's degree in Mental Health Counseling at Boston College. My love of learning and working with adults of all ages led me to pursue a doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin. For the first fifteen years of my career as a therapist I trained and worked in various community mental health and college counseling centers. Throughout my time in agency work I had the pleasure of directing clinical training programs as well as coordinating multicultural education and group psychotherapy programs. For the past three years I have worked exclusively with adult clients in private practice and love having the opportunity to help people make ongoing changes in their lives.
