About My Clients
Our clinical team provides counseling services to children, adolescents, adults, elders, couples and families. We believe in meeting clients where they are at and affirming all identities. We work collaboratively with our clients to alleviate physical, social and emotional barriers. We will work together to empower you to understand patterns of behavior, let go of what no longer serves you, practice self-awareness and cultivate the happiness that is already within you.
My Background and Approach
At Leaves of Change Counseling, our clinical team comes from an approach that is trauma-informed, relational, culturally sensitive, body positive (HAES aligned), sex positive and strength based. We have therapy dogs in-training (therapups) who are available for animal assisted therapy once services resume in person. We have clinicians experienced in working with adolescents and their families who are involved with state agencies including DYS, DCF and DMH.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Leaves of Change's clinical team believes in affirming the identities of LGBTQIA+ and gender diverse clients. We are BIPOC allied and practice antiracism. We are knowledgeable and supportive of all consensual relationship styles. We are allies of sex workers, ethically non-monogamous clients, vegans, those who participate in BDSM and kink, and esoteric, pagan, and occult paths and practices.
