About My Clients
Far too often, we feel completely alone with our problems, our trauma, our difficult emotions, and our thoughts. Fortunately, we are never alone. Although our painful experiences can make us feel isolated and alone, beginning therapy services can begin to dismantle these illusions and start the path of healing that you deserve. Together, we can walk down that journey, one session at a time.
My Background and Approach
As a trauma therapist, I use tools to help you walk through your traumas in order to heal from them. I am a certified EMDR therapist. I am in the process of becoming a TF-CBT therapist and use trauma narratives to assist you in processing your traumas. I also utilize skills to assist minorities in processing their experiences of racial inequalities, immigration issues, microaggressions, racism, sexism, discrimination, and racial identity issues. I will assist in you normalizing your experiences while also giving you tools to bring insight and also cope and overcome your trauma
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
As a Latinx woman myself, I have come to realize how important representation is in the mental health field. Trauma is something I have realized many people especially BIPOC have experienced. Living in times like these, we need to support each other, validate and lift one another. I am passionate about what I do and love helping people grow, overcome and heal from within. I am a strong supporter of BLM and LBGTQIA+ I love to run and read books and spend time with my daughter :D
