About My Clients
I specialize in supporting teens and young adults that are feeling lost or stuck as they navigate the transition from adolescence to early adulthood. I’ll support you in building self-compassion, finding meaning in your life, and discovering a whole, fulfilled self.
My Background and Approach
I work from a person-centered, compassion-focused framework. I weave various modalities to provide a flexible and personalized approach to therapy. My practice is informed by IFS parts work, psychodynamic theory, ecopsychology, and narrative therapy techniques. My style when working with clients is creative, collaborative, and down to earth. I welcome you as you are, while holding space for you to feel safe and heard. I empower you to explore uncharted depths and support you in unearthing beliefs, behaviors, and narratives that keep you feeling stuck. Together we’ll explore early experiences and unvoiced parts to understand the role they play in current narratives and behaviors. Your time in therapy becomes a devoted space for you to let go of what isn’t serving you, create new, empowering narratives, and connect with your whole self. With thoughtful consideration and warmth, I work with you to cultivate a deeper sense of belonging and enriched personal relationships.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe as humans we have a fundamental need to be heard in our pain and seen in our goodness. The therapeutic relationship can offer a safe place to be heard and seen wholly as we are. In addition to being a therapist, I received my certification as an Equine Specialist in Mental Health + Learning through the Professional Association of Therapeutic Horsemanship in 2017, and have been offering equine-guided therapy + learning over the last 7 years. Growing up on the central coast of California, my most formative experiences have unfolded in connection with the natural world. My life long love of being in nature has evolved into a passion for supporting youth development through meaningful, nature-based experiences.
