About My Clients
I work best with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and stress related to family, cultural expectations, and identity. I especially connect with first-generation and culturally diverse clients who may feel pressure to balance personal needs with family or societal roles. I provide a supportive, practical, and culturally aware space focused on growth and healing.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Therapist with specialized training in evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I have experience working with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, and chronic stress. My clinical approach focuses on helping clients understand patterns, build practical coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change in their daily lives. As a culturally responsive therapist and first-generation Latina, I bring an understanding of how culture, family expectations, and identity can impact mental health. Clients often benefit from having a space where they do not have to explain or justify their experiences. I strive to provide therapy that is supportive, collaborative, and goal-focused, helping clients feel empowered, understood, and equipped with tools they can use outside of sessions.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a safe, affirming space where all people feel respected, valued, and supported. I am committed to creating an inclusive environment for individuals of all identities, backgrounds, and life experiences. I value social justice, equality, and culturally informed care, and I strive to practice from a place of compassion, respect, and evidence-based science. I believe in meeting clients where they are, honoring their lived experiences, and supporting their right to feel safe, seen, and empowered in their healing process.
