Physical, mood, and body changes may occur. These things vary, and at times the intensity can make it feel like we are getting knocked off of our feet. A mindful break allows us to gently care for ourselves to help us catch our breath, attend to the mind and body while paying attention.
Spirituality can comprise a sense of existence, belief in power, and understanding one's soul, spirit, mind, and body. There are basic needs for freedom, fun, survival, power, and security. If there are question about any of these basic needs, then we can identify how to attain those concepts while attending to the spiritual well-being.
Anxiety can be the body's response to stressful conditions. Our amygdala is like the body's smoke detector, and when the body detects that discomfort, then the system, thoughts, and body react. If that smoke detector over-fires, then we can find ways to understand the body sensations and practice affect regulation together.
