About My Clients
My ideal client is an individual who is struggling with the symptoms associated with a traumatic experience, anxiety, or adjusting to life's many challenges. I have found a deep passion for assisting individuals access their inner strengths to overcome the negative effects and learn to manage these concerns. My ideal client is motivated and ready to do the work to finally be able to life a life full of health, happiness, and well-being.
My Background and Approach
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist from San Diego, California. I received my Masters of Science in Professional Clinical Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Grand Canyon University in Phoenix, Arizona. Prior to attending his master’s program, I conferred a Bachelors of Art’s in Psychology with a minor in Family Studies and Human Development from the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona. I have dedicated his clinical practice to assist clients who present with complex trauma, anxiety, and a difficult time adjusting to new life challenges. I believe in providing quality mental health services to individuals, children, and couples by offering a therapeutic approach that combines a person-centered outlook with interventions that stem from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Together we will build a tailored client plan with goals aimed to address your specific needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that all people have the ability to overcome any obstacles that they may be faced with. I have had the privilege of learning from my clients a very valuable lesson: what might appear to be an insurmountable obstacle, is actually an opportunity to be resilient and overcome adversity. I
