About My Clients
I love working with adults (especially ages 18-25) around issues including self-esteem, anxiety, body image, grief, and trauma. We will work together to dismantle shame, be more gentle with ourselves, and live with more ease and harmony.
My Background and Approach
I like to use an Internal Family Systems (IFS) lens to explore the often-contradictory multitudes that we contain and to extend compassion towards the parts of ourselves we tend to reject. All parts of you are welcome in sessions with me. I also often use a somatic focus to encourage connection to the body and to understand how emotions may show up as sensations. I am a master's counseling student at Lenoir-Rhyne University. I have four years of experience in the mental health field, including working with survivors of domestic and sexual violence and in wilderness therapy.
